1. Who we are
Total Artist ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted landing page and website generation at https://1-artist.com. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, password credentials (stored hashed), and profile fields you provide.
- Authentication data — session tokens and, if you use Google sign-in, identifiers and profile details Google shares with us for login.
- Design and usage content — briefs, prompts, design specs, chat refine messages, generated page data, publish slugs, and related studio activity needed to provide the product.
- Usage and technical data — approximate usage of generation/refine features, rate-limit counters, IP-related signals used for security or localization (for example country hints for pricing), device/browser information, and basic diagnostics.
- Billing identifiers — customer and subscription/transaction references from Paddle so we can grant entitlements. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers; Paddle processes payments as Merchant of Record.
3. Why we use this information
- Provide, operate, and secure the service (accounts, studio, publish, export)
- Process purchases and apply plan entitlements via Paddle
- Communicate about your account, billing, or important product changes
- Prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and improve reliability and product quality
- Comply with legal obligations where they apply
We rely on performance of a contract with you, legitimate interests in running a secure SaaS product, and consent where required (for example optional cookies or marketing, if we introduce them).
4. Processors and sharing
We share data with service providers who help us run Total Artist, including:
- Paddle — payments, invoices, tax handling, and related customer billing data
- Neon (Postgres) — application database hosting for accounts, designs, and entitlements
- Vercel — application hosting, delivery, and related infrastructure
- AI providers — models used to generate and refine page designs from your briefs (content you submit may be processed to produce outputs)
- Google — only if you choose Google OAuth for sign-in
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of users and the service.
5. Cookies and sessions
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions and essential application function. Without these, you cannot stay signed in. We may also use privacy- conscious analytics in production environments to understand aggregate traffic; such tools are configured to support operating the product rather than selling advertising profiles.
6. Published pages
If you publish a page, the content you choose to publish becomes publicly available at its URL (for example under /p/[slug]). Do not publish personal data you are not allowed to share.
7. Retention
We keep account and design data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, disputes, or legal obligations. Billing records may be retained by Paddle according to their obligations. You can request deletion as described below.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or request portability of data you provided
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, email support@totalartist.com. We may need to verify your identity. Some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited time, or where we must retain it for legal or security reasons.
9. International transfers
We and our processors may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).
10. Children
Total Artist is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
